WWF Hungary is seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Digital Fundraising Officer. The role will be essential in contributing to WWF Hungary’s fundraising and communication activities, supporting conservation goals as a member of the Individual Fundraising Team within the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Department.
As a Digital fundraising officer your duties will include:
- A) Maintenance and coordination of digital fundraising channels
- Managing the WWF Hungary fundraising sites (adomany.wwf.hu) and coordinating the development of the new landing pages
- Planning, executing and evaluating fundraising-related content strategy and development to WWF Hungary’s social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Viber, blog and podcast
- Analyzing digital sales data and creating reports
- Preparing digital fundraising content calendar for WWF Hungary’s channel portfolio
- Translating fundraising related international social media content
- Managing external partners’ work (graphic designers, advertising agencies, etc.)
- Cooperating with Communications and Conservation colleagues and trainees, collecting content materials from the team
- Creating engaging fundraising stories for the digital channels
- Working closely together with and supporting the relevant colleagues of the Communication and Individual Fundraising teams
- Developing new ideas on better social media activity related to fundraising activities
- Coordinating the social media community management with the Digital Communications Coordinator (replying to comments and messages on social media)
- Organizing and executing the creation of visual content, videos related to fundraising
- Managing PPC advertisements and coordinating ad campaigns by external partners
- Planning, editing and sending out fundraising-related newsletters
- Managing administrative tasks (writing reports, draft contracts, proposals, etc.)
- B) Be an active part of the Fundraising team
- Taking part in planning the overall fundraising strategy and detailed workplan on a yearly basis, planning and implementing activities to support fundraising efforts
- Following the information flow of WWF Network communications
- Feeding the network communication channels with relevant content about our national work in Hungary
- Participating in external meetings
Requirements:
- University or college degree in relevant academic discipline as Communications, PR, Marketing or other related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
- Experience with website management
- Experience with content management systems and email marketing services
- A creative and very pro-active attitude and personality with an ability to work independently, as well as in teams
- Excellent oral and written communications skills both in Hungarian and English
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal communication
- Precise and efficient in managing parallel tasks and deadlines
- Solution-oriented, analytical thinking
- Flexibility in personality and open-minded
- Interest and appetite for conservation and sustainability
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Windows operating systems
- Experience in database management such as Salesforce is a plus
