Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is constantly looking for professionals who are ready to share their time and skills for the assistance of people in need. Working in the field is sometimes exhausting, but also fascinating, demanding a variety of professional and personal skills and a large amount of motivation and commitment.

Job Tasks:

  • improve hygiene and encourage the effective use of health services
  • analyze and understand the local behavior and/or practices at risk of transmitting a disease
  • coordinating the IEC-activities (Information, Education, Communication) on different topics
  • information on themes linked to maternal health, malnutrition, malaria, AIDS, Ebola, etc.
  • supervising and training the local staff

Requirements:

  • degree in Anthropology/ Sociology or social sciences
  • at least 2 years professional experience
  • experience to live within foreign cultures and working with communities
  • experience in communication activities
  • fluent English and / or good knowledge of French
  • at least six to nine months availability for the first mission
