Grants
With grants, we seek to advance innovative ideas that address shared challenges by high quality regional cooperation projects. Whether you are pursuing arts, work with vulnerable groups or focus on innovative entrepreneurship, we believe regional cooperation can bring positive change to your field or community.

Visegrad Grants
Visegrad grants support regional partnerships among NGOs and civil society organizations, public institutions and municipalities, private companies and nonprofit organizations as well as education and research centers that contribute to cooperation in the Visegrad region.

Conditions
- Projects must develop meaningful cooperation and active participation of organizations from at least 3 V4 countries
- Cross-border cooperation of at least 2 organizations from 2 neighboring V4 countries also qualify for support with projects taking place within a 40-km radius from the border
- Maximum duration of project implementation is 18 months
- Grants can cover up to 100% of project budget with 15% for overheads
- Projects must address at least one of the objectives of the grant program´s seven focus areas

Visegrad+ Grants
Visegrad+ Grants support projects which contribute to the democratization and transformation processes in selected countries and regions, especially non-EU member states in the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership countries.

Conditions
- Projects must develop meaningful cooperation and ensure active involvement of at least 3 V4 countries and 1 entity from the EaP region or the Western Balkans countries at minimum regardless of the applicant
- Maximum duration of project implementation is 18 months
- Grants cover up to 100% of project budget with maximum 15% of the requested sum for overheads
- Projects must clearly address one of the objectives of the program´s seven focus areas and be implemented in the region of EU´s Eastern Partnership or in the Western Balkan

Strategic Grants
Strategic Grants support project addressing annual strategic priorities of the Visegrad Group. Strategic priorities are announced annually by the V4 country holding the rotating presidency over the group, which from July 2020 to June 2021 is Poland.

Conditions
- Projects must develop meaningful cooperation and ensure active participation of organizations from all V4 countries
- Maximum duration of projects is 36 months, minimum is 12 months
- Grants cover up to 100% of project budget with 15% for overheads
- Projects must clearly address one of the annual strategic priorities of the Visegrad Group
V4-Japan Joint Research Program

With large number of applications received for the 1st call, the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and Funding Organizations of the Visegrad Group (V4) countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) in cooperation with the International Visegrad Fund will jointly launch the second call of the V4-Japan Joint Research Program in the field of "Advanced Materials."

Eligible Composition of the Consortia
This program is a mechanism for formulating and supporting research projects that involve scientists from the V4 countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) and Japan. For this second Joint Call in the field of Advanced Materials, each project consortium should consist of at least 3 partners: one from Japan and at least two from two different V4 countries participating inthe Joint Call. Proposals eligible for this second call are those that follow the "Japan+2 V4 countries" (1+2), "Japan+3 V4 countries" (1+3), and "Japan+4 V4 countries" (1+4) models. Proposals that follow the bilateral model of "Japan+1 V4 country" (1+1) will not be eligible. For details please refer to the call text.
