In our fifth annual FRA consultation on civic space, we would like to hear about your experiences regarding the challenges that you faced in your day-to-day work related to civic space in 2022 as well as potential good practices and ways forward.

If you are a civil society organisation working in an EU Member State or in Serbia, Albania or North Macedonia or at EU level, please contribute. Your replies matter! We would appreciate it if you could please forward this questionnaire also to your civil society networks and partners.
Your responses will allow us to identify challenges and trends over time and ways forward on how to address them. The results of this consultation will be published and shared widely with civil society, policy makers, stakeholders and the media. Your insights will help to promote actions that can improve the conditions for civil society organisations across the EU and beyond.
The survey asks about your organisation’s experiences in the following areas:
- General situation of civil society
- Attacks and resilience
- Access to finance and resources
- Enabling regulatory environment and law
- Access to the decision-making process and participation
The survey also asks a few background questions about your organisation.
